Anyone have their 23 handy and still on the trailer?  Need the dimension from the ground to the rubrail just aft of the companionway bulkhead. 

Been using a 6' step ladder for access on tow trips, thrown in the bed of my truck.  Not the best, want to take half of a 16' extension ladder, add appropriate soft standoffs and locks and make a spot with permanent clips for it on the trailer while I have the trailer at the house.  My boat is in the water, don't have that dimension.

My trailer is performance with 14" wheels.

Works great and is the ultimate in stowability.  A little more than a hundred clams.

I use an aged and very scary old 8 foot fiberglass step ladder. A few wood splices and duct tape at the feet seem to hold my weight just fine. I like Tim's ladder...that'd be good to stow in a car trunk. My 8 footer lives on the trailer next to the boat.

I tie a fender to the ladder and then tie the ladder to the boat.  Works great.  No scratches and its held in place real sturdy.  I think its a 7' ladder.
