does con-pac use mostly garhaurer brand blocks mostly on the fully loaded newer models ?
I want to stay with the style and brand of blocks when I add gear ; dont want to mesh modern styles with
that of compac's outfitter. any thoughts ?

Not sure what you are asking.  My 2005 23/IV has all Ronstan blocks from the factory.  When I made up a Vang, I used Lemar Syncro's, because they were priced right for the MWL.

I think Com-Pac probably changed their hardware over the years based on what kind of OEM volume discount they could get with the hardware manufacturers.

I used shauffer blocks.  They are not factory but Com-pac didn't offer a vang at the time (2001).
