Power Thruster Performance

Jim, I'm afraid I can't help on the performance value of my power thruster. What I can say is...it sure saves marking up the rudder! I installed it on my 8hp Johnson, just for that reason. On my previous boat (Precision P-23) the rudder had prop marks all over it. On my new Eclipse the motor is a lot closer to the rudder and I didn't want the same thing to happen to it. Trailer Sailer.com had the Power Thruster on sale, so I decided to try one. The installation was easy and it's saving my rudder from my carelessness, that really all I care about. The manufacture claims it improves performance by 22% and improves gas mileage by as much as 30%. So it must be a good thing, right. :lol:
