Thanks for the info Steve.  Another 'KISS' item I use is an Attwood bellow airhorn. There are no cartridges to replace or pump up....you simply blow into them. They are not big at about 8in long and 2 1/2 in wide but they are LOUD. Sounds like a tugboat coming at ya.They really do work surprizingly well. Cheap too at about $15 and nothing else to buy again.
