HELP!!!

Does anyone know the model of head installed on a 1988 model???

I thought it was a wilcox crittenden...wrong, then maybe a raritan...wrong.  I talked to Compac and they though maybe a Groco, but several peices from the scematic do not add up.  Any ideas would help.  I am in need of a few parts and a rebuild kit and have not had any luck so far.  I believe it is the original.

Thanks,
Chad

Hi Chad. You've named almost all of them. How about Jabsco? Maybe try going to Defender's website and compare:

If it's and old original head, it might be better to just replace it? No sense in rebuilding a 20 year old $100 head.

Joker valve....ewww....

Thanks for the link.  I had checked it out already.  To my knowledge all of the Jabscos have the pump mounted at an angle where mine is vertical.

I am starting to lean toward a replacement just because I am having so much trouble figuring out what I have.  The frustrating issue is it flushes just fine, it is only the water intake portion that is not working due to a couple of disintegrated parts.

And yes YUCK!

I agree with kchunk, go new. A rebuild kit is nearly the cost of a new head.
