Anyone using this on an Eclipse or larger Com Pac ?

I had one on my little H170 and liked it, not to sure if I could mount it cleanly on my Eclipse tiller, also, where to mount the jam cleats ?

I'm also looking to buy a hand held wind speed indicator, any suggestions ?

Well I guess I have no tiller tamer simply because on the C-P 19 those pesky lines going 'tiller-port, tiller-starboard' don't leave enough room in the stern for me.

So I picked an opening on one side for me and one side and the ForeSpar telescoping rod with a ball that fits into a cockpit combing socket on the otherside.

The port and starboard combing both have a socket and that leaves an opening for the captain to sit in with stick opposite side.

There is a photograph on 'Frappr' slide show [right next to the gal in the hot pink shorts on the beach] and at the bottom of the CPYOA Homepage and additional misc. pics from a link at the bottom of all my posts. skip.

Skip,

I too am concerned  with the tiller tamer lines and where I will sit.

Thanks for the info, hope I can find my way to them !

This looks pretty good, thanks for posting the picture.

What is the name of this tiller tamer and where can I buy one ?

It is from Cansail marine supply in Canada.  It was $38 5 years ago.

I mounted mine underneath the tiller instead above.  It is worth the money.

Thanks TSAIAPEX,

I just order it, this is much better than the tiller tamer which I had on my other boat.

no knob to tighten or loosen while your sailing, just a simple clamping motion !.
