1993 cp16 NOW ON EBAY NO RESERVE

Hey people, a professor has a 1993 CP 16 listed on ebay as a 1983... no reserve and as of 6 am 7/3/08 it was only 1225.    Don't pass this up...wish I had extra space I would get it...  It is in Michigan.

It  is listed as 1983 Com-pac 16   in the Ebay Motors section.

Sorry to disagree,  a 1983 does NOT have a bowspirt and that kind of stripes on the hull.  He listed it last week as a 1993.     Should be worth 5,500

The owner finally answered me.......... it is infact a 1995 Com-pac 16 and it SOLD for  only $2,450.

That would be me who was the buyer! Turned out, it was a 1986 boat, not a 1993 or a 1983. He got his papers screwed up with another friend's boat and he only revealed his "oversight" after I had traveled 2200 miles to pick up the boat. Still, $2450 for a 1986 CP 16 is fair, but not as sweet of a deal.

You paid him the full amount after you found out the boat magically aged on your way to pick it up? I would have asked for a $500 refund at least.

Hope you find everything is okay with the boat.... Sounds awfully suspect....
