Hello:

I have a ComPac 16 and I often have to handle the trailer myself. A friend told me that I should install trailer "glides" to make the launch and recovery easier.

Logic tells me that glides will work, but experience tells me to ask someone with real experience.

Do glides work? Any negatives?

Thanks,

Sid Breman

Hello Sid,

Yes, Bunk Guides do work and are a big help if you are retrieving your boat by your self.

I would not use the PVC type, Ive seen them break off when the boat hits them.

West Marine carries them, about $125.00, I think thats what I paid. they are well made, easy to mount, no holes to drill and come with all the hard wear that you need to mount them
