There's nothing, absolutely nothing, half so much worth doing as simply messing about in boats
They say the two happiest days of a sailor's life are the day he buys a boat and the day he sells it. Unfortunately that will not be the case with me as it is with a great deal of regret that I must put my 1981 Com-Pac, "New L'Attitude", up for sale. My wife's illness and my on-going role as her 24/7 "help giver" has prevented me from sailing at all this year and will continue to prevent me from sailing for years to come. And, truth be told, we could use the additional cash to help defray our on-going medical costs.

Details (as she was outfitted when I first bought her):

    1981 Hutchin's Com-Pac 16 sailboat
    Original galvanized trailer
1984(?)5hp Evinrude ob (I used it twice)
    Original main and jib
    original sail cover
main and jib halyards led aft to cockpit
    mast-mounted windex
    tiller extension
    night-sailing ready, including lighted compass**

anchor with chain and 100' line
    cockpit cushions
    4 life jackets
    2 seat cushions
    fire extinguisher
    flairs
    tie-down lines
    boat hook
    paddle
    removable swim ladder
    extra lines 'n rope
    miscellaneous parts 'n stuff

Added since original purchase:

    Newer main and jib
    150% nylon bi-color genoa
    additional 3-clip life jacket (large)
NACA 0012 foiled rudder (using specs found on this website)
    recently rewired w/new lighted rocker-switch panel **
Stained and varnished 2-section hatch board
Stained and varnished 2-section cover for bow storage
    carpeted area behind bow storage
cockpit "bridge" creates full-sized "under the stars" sleeping area
    for two ++
sail cover, tiller cover and jib bag (hunter green) ##

I brought her down from Michigan to Omaha, Nebraska in 2002 for $2650. Willing to start the negotiations at $2400 (unless you'd rather simply give me my asking price!!!)

## alright - you get the leftover sunbrella material, too ... enough to make a whole new set if you like
