COMPAC CONVERGENCE 2007/2?

Well, Com-Con 2007 has come and gone with a great time had by all attending. (See "Rendezvous in Barnegat Bay") Summer is still here, why not plan for number 2? Anyone have any ideas as to where, when? I'd be up for another Tice's Shoal Convergence. We had a fun time, and the ocean is there to swim in. I'll try to bring a dinghy this time and maybe we can hone our rafting up techniques. Weekend of 8/04 is out for me, but I'm free every other weekend after that.

Well, again I'm replying to myself. 8/11 is not good for me...previous committments that I didn't know about. 25th would work. Dennis in his Morgan 30 will probably be there also. I have procurred the use of a dinghy which, unfortunately, I will have to tow to the Convergence.

Well the 25th not so good for I and my crew. Barnegat is having their annual event...'Pirates Day' on September 8th. I plan to be out and about for that, there are fireworks at the dock at dusk. Might be a good day to hang around Conklin Island and such. We can call it the...  'Conklin Convergence'.

Been so busy with cleaning the new boat I haven't even been sailing in two weeks, so I'm off for a sail today!
