Name my boat ... how can I coax you to give me an idea?

Silver Heels doesn't 'do it' for me, and my first mate's suggestion for 'Blown Away' just seems so..... predictable.

I have been considering 'Freebird' , I don't know why, I just always liked to yell out "Freebird!" at karaoke bars, parties and wedding dances.

I thought I'd tap the folks here and see if someone maybe would share a name that perhaps they had as a second choice, or maybe a first choice but they got voted down by their first mate.....

Anyone???

Ha Ha Two Dogs.... One of my all time favorite  jokes!

Yes Paul that was a great link, and it put me right back at the start... A name should have a special meaning. I need to listen to the boat to hear her name......

Perhaps a Vulcan mind meld will do the trick.....

Wind Walker

Dances With Waves   (Is that one taken?)

I actually thought of 'For Sail' but thought I'd put it on a sign like a normal 'for sale' sign and put that on the boat.

Grrrrrr... How long should this take?

"Freebird" is a great name.  It is the name on my recently purchased C/P 19.  However, it has no special meaning to me and will be changed to "Island Pearl" probably within the next month.  So I am turning the name of "Freebird" over to you.

That's It!!  " Two Dogs..."  What a name!  And think of all the laughter it will bring to others!

Two Dogs ia funny, but I don't think I want it on my boat!  I went to sleep trying to think of a way to mix my wife and kids names together or incorporate the family name, but I think that's a dead end.

Maybe something about our life.... 3 young kids, waaaay too many toys, a nurse, an engineer, love my beer.... I just don't get a connection with anything!

I may just try the Vulcan thing today....

Paul

LOL!!

Now I remember the joke.  Yes, very funny. :)

What about "Nursing Beer"  or "Beer IV"?  Maybe not.

Of course, if "Freebird" is soon available, then it's yours.

Good Luck.

Hi, We had a Compac 23, and named her "Silver Girl" as in the song "Bridge Over Troubled Waters",  "sail on Silver Girl, sail on by, your time has...."  The guy who bought her hasn't sailed her in 12 yrs. just sitting on her trailer, could be had for maybe $1000.  Needs lots of TLC.  Johnny Walker
