I'm looking at a 27 on a trailer near my home in Colorado. It's a 1986. Are there any issues specific to this boat I should be looking at? The boat has a porta-potti, we will need to install a marine head. How big of a deal will that be? Is there plenty of room in the cockpit lockers for tankage and plumbing?
What are the keels made of, iron or lead?
What is it worth?
Thanks for any and all advice, Bill

Done, we put down a deposit this morning. Bring her home this weekend.
Now the questions will really come in!

Welcome to the 27 family.  I am sure you will have many years of enjoyment from her.  This forum is a great source of information.

The keel is concrete, and adding a marine head should be no problem if you are the "handy-man" type.  Mine is completely torn out right now so if you need any pictures let me know and I will send them to you as I put it all back together.

Lots of fun and fair winds,
Jim
