centerboard stuck in housing

well i found out today,just why the centerboard in my suncat wont come down.1st owner had two oversize zinc anodes installed in the centerboard.he used bolt that were to long for the centerboard housing.loading the boat on the trailer shoves the centerboard up in side the housing.the too long bolts were bent and jammed inside the housing.what a mess.may have to lift the boat up off the trailer to get at centerboard.tried all day today to solve this problem.yacht club member has lift available for a fee.now i know why the price was cheaper than other suncats.whats that old saying.if it looks to good to be true.on the bright side its been on the mooring for 2 weeks and hasn't sunk.
