Both my Orion and CP19 leak from a soft rain, but there is no water intrusion from a hard rain. I have run a hose along the deck trying to find the leaks with no success. I've placed a sprinkler on both boats and found no water inside. After using a power washer, no leaks. A light rain like we have today and I'll be drying them out afterwards.

I don't understand it.

That is counterintuitive alright. Our Sun still drips a little into the cabin in a hard rain, not so much in light (easier to understand, even as I have wrestled this down from a big to a small problem). Somehow rain (hard) still finds its way down the mast into the area of the mast step despite significant efforts to find and stop it.
