Hello All From Canada, Have acquired a 1977CP16 with NO cushions.  Can any kind soul describe them to me - shape ,dimensions incl thickness, materials used, number needed etc. Pictures would be helpful as would anyone's experience of  replacing cushions commercially or home made. Have been reading every thing that appears on the website and am grateful to all who have shared their knowledge. Have owned a couple of Siren 17's and a DS16K but this is my 1st CP16 so you will see why I'm thirsty for info.Merci, RTH.

Dear RTHall:

I ordered a set of cockpit cushions from SailboatOwners.com - closed cell foam and Sunsure Fabric - for my 1994 CP 16/XL.  They came premade for $410 and the quality is very good.  The only problem is that the cushions are too short to cover the full length of the cockpit seat.  They fit the seats countour well but stop short of the full seat length ending at the end of the footwell.  I'm working with the good folk at SailboatOwners to get the right size cushion.  I'll let you know how I make out.

DOUGLAS,

Assuming you are referring to quarter berth cushions,  both Hutchins & the New JSI have these. the new JSI makes them.  hutchins orders from sub.
