Most know by now the value in changing out 12v incandescent bulbs with LED's.  But for any that may still be skeptical, these days there  is an LED replacement for practically any 12v bulb.  So no longer are we faced with changing out fixtures. And with a little shopping, the cost is negligible.

Most importantly for cruising sailors, the amperage draw of an LED bulb is typically one tenth of an incandescent bulb.  I changed the dome light bulb in my Suncat and the amperage draw went from 1.5 to 0.1 amps.  If you are on the hook for any length of time,  that is huge.

Yes. I changed all my lights, exterior and interior, to LEDs years ago. Makes huge difference when your out for longer than a couple days.
