Feeling accomplished and satisfied

The first boat loan pmt was made on the 2nd of the month.  Today the first storage pmt was made.  Learned I can get most of the supplies I'll need to finish getting her ready for launch this spring right at the local boatyard, thereby supporting a local small business and being able to do what I need to do rather than toss money at Jeff Bezos, who probably doesn't need mine anyway.  Also learned a lot picking the yard owner's brain while enjoying a cold drink in the shop, his treat. Hey, it was five o'clock somewhere! And it all feels really good.  I believe I am going to enjoy boat life.  I think I'm going to enjoy retirement.  The boat will ensure I never have nothing to keep me occupied while giving me tons of sailing satisfaction.  Maybe even take me places I haven't been before. The adventure is set to begin.  Even picked up a pair of Carhartt overalls for doing the dirty boat work that's ahead so I won't ruin my everyday jeans.
