Deck Wiring options

Hey everyone!

Looking for some deck wiring options to replace my current setup. The current one has a small metal like deal attached to the deck using 3 screws and then the mast has the male end on it to plug into the deck fitting. the interior of the deck fitting comes out via a small screw in the side, and then you attach the wires and slide it back into the deck fitting.

It really is a issue, as it seemingly went bad fast, and I would like to change it to something that will hold up better, even pondering making a fitting up in the shop to use instead possibly.

Any and all links, ideas, etc wanted!!!
