Hi,

I'm seriously considering the purchase of a 23/2 and magic tilt trailer. I was wondering if anyone knew the overall length of boat + trailer (I think these trailers were from the factory? Could be wrong) since it would be convenient if it would fit in my garage. The boat is not on the trailer right now, otherwise I'd measure myself.

Thanks

Hi Birder. I do not have a Magic Tilt for my 23 but from memory (always dangerous) I'd have to say there's at least 4 feet of trailer ahead of the bow so around 26 feet total. My 23 is also not on her trailer but I can measure tomorrow when I'm at the boat.

My 1984 23 on MT trailer fit in the front part of my polebarn which is 28 ft long.

Have you considered the height of boat  on the trailer?
You must have a tall door opening.
Just a thought.

Well, my garage is exactly 28 feet long, so hopefully that will be enough. I'm fairly certain the door is high enough, I didn't measure but I'd estimate 15' or so.

Um..yeah. 15 foot high should do it!
