Dunno. The Sage 17, Montgomery 17 and the Norseboat are all very fine little boats too. A tough contest to be sure.

since there isnt a catalina 18 in the mix (inexcusable mistake) my vote goes to the monty. everything ive read indicates that shes a sweet little sailboat, it was on my short list

True enough that there are plenty of fine craft in the running (having owned and appreciated the little Potter 15 and looked longingly at the Cape Dory and others). But the Sun Cat certainly ticks a lot of the boxes. More contests to come, it would appear.
