Hi all,

I've been thinking of doing a Maine schooner cruise with my girlfriend this summer. I did a week-long solo cruise aboard the Victory Chimes (the only remaining 3-master) about 15 years ago and it was great, but I'd like to consider other vessels as well. There are quite a few, with different emphases (is that a word?). We'd prefer some minimal amenities rather than completely authentic, ha ha. The VC had a cold water sink  and a porthole in the cabin and that's adequate, we are both sailors after all! A private cabin is essential and good food is a plus. I know some of the schooners do emphasize the culinary angle.

If anyone has a recent experience to share that would be great. There are just so many to sift through and I have not seen a review site out there but if anyone's aware of one I'd be very interested.

Thanks in advance,

Andre
