The steering hardware (chain/cable & conduits) and engine control cables were replaced last week on my 1987 CP-27. I am now even deeper in debt to Wes, who graciously led this effort! It was a difficult project, but we got it done. Very cool to have two 27's side-by-side in my marina for a few days (Moss Landing - Washington, NC). Thanks again Wes!

By the way, we discovered that my pedestal is not an Edson as I thought, but a Merriman Yacht Systems. Merriman is long out of business, but Edson parts worked with a few modifications. Happy to provide details if any of you find yourself if the same situation.
