Well, the event is over....  We had fantastic weather and 2 Com Pac Eclipses.  (FastDoc and me)  Great sailing with plenty of wind: over 20 on Wed, a great race on Monday, a night sail and great conversations with all.  What a great lake to sail on.  Carlyle Lake is huge! In Southern Illinois - look it up and plan on attending next year.  It is really worth the effort.  Captain Steve and Admiral Sarah do a great job organizing and keep everything running.  We had cool temps at night so sleeping in Off The Wind was great and warm dry days to sail.  It was good seeing FastDoc Dan and sailing with him.  He had his Son and 2 fantastic dogs as crew.  Sail On    Al

Wish I could have made it.  Finally got my boat in the water a week ago and its done nothing but rain since then.  We got over 7" of rain in 2 days.  Tomorrow is finally looking better so hopefully I'll be able it to sail her for the first time.
