I am in the process of replacing the original jib on my 1983 Compac 16.  I would like to go with a larger jib but don't know what size would be best.  We are casual sailors on a small lake.  Can anybody give me any advice?  I would also appreciate any suggestions on jib track length and placement.
Thank you

I would say to stay within the design specs for jib size.  Too large may put you quickly into an uncontrollable lee helm.

I got a 155% genoa from National Sails.  It worked great!
