Backing Plates

Just trying to learn more about the Eclipse.  Does anyone know if the stations, dock cleats and winches are back plated for strength?

No winches on the eclipse.  Bow cleat does not have a backing plate but the deck is reinforced with encapsulated plywood.  Stern cleats are part of the arch/boom gallows.  Stanchions do not have backing plates either but can't tell if the deck is reinforced there.

The stanchions are in reinforced spots.  Plenty of solid wood to hold it in place.  I have not heard of a single Eclipse loosing a bow cleat or stanchions far.
Brent:  You need to pull the trigger and get an Eclipse!
