Com Pac 16 front mast mount / crutch for transport

Saw this here somewhere and liked it. 2 ft length of 4" PVC, two end caps, and some sawing and dremeling.
Just need to find some felt.

Oh yeah absolutely, I'll tie it down, I got those hookles straps coming from Amazon.
Right now, the other end sits on Ricks (airborne jarhead, prevoius owner :) wood construct.
I am in the process of welding up a rear crutch that fits in the tiller gudgeon.

I recently made this very simple crutch for the rear. The vertical piece just slips into the base for easy disassembly. I only need one rope to secure the mast, crutch and rudder. With the rear secure, its easy to just lasso the front of the mast to the pulpit, no other hardware needed.
