Nice Day for a Sail

Yesterday was a beautiful day for sailing and I chose to work in the yard, but today I went out.  Wind was fickle, but it pushed us along at times and the bonus was catching 6 crappie and grilling them for dinner.

As I was approaching the dock, a drone flew overhead and then hovered near me.  At the dock a gentleman introduced himself and asked if the next time I went out, could I text him as he would like to video me sailing for his website.  He has just started a business videoing from above and needs samples of his work.  Pretty neat.  Next nice day I'm sailing and maybe I'll get a cool video too!

Sad but true.  I forgot when I was launching it was quite windy and another man on his pontoon boat was holding up his phone and asked if it was ok to record me.  He said he was going to send it to a friend in Key Largo.  Perhaps he's seen me sail before and wanted to give his friend a laugh.

I'm sure anyone who watched me attempting to fly fish from the boat was amused.
