Hey everyone... new cp-16 owner here. Had her out on the water twice already, overnight once. Got a little wind and some fish too.

I need to do some polishing, cleaning and painting. I also want to wire up some lights. I already wired one up at the top of the mast, for anchor light but still need to figure out where to best route the wires.

So, my question. I want to find a book that explains boat fixing, painting, gel coats, all that. Maybe a couple of books... any recommendations?

I found Don Casey's " Complete Illustrated Sailboat Maintenance Manual " to be helpful in the repair and restoration of my CP 16. It has a lot of information about just about everything sailboat related,  even has some sewing projects.

Casey (my hero) has another book, " Sailboat Refinishing," that's excellent and focuses specifically on your needs.
