The modified Torqeedo Cruise 4.0 with 48v battery bank and ProMariner quad charger is the most exquisite auxiliary power system I've had in my many boats - quiet, no smell, instant availability - just drop you hand from the tiller to the throttle and go!  It will drive her to hull speed at 6 knots or cruise 35 NM at 4 1/2 knots.
