From the wilds of the South of New Jersey to the far reaches of the world of the Compac-o-nauts: a very Merry Christmas to you all! Fair winds, good health, cold beer and hot toddy's to everyone, even those who have been bad this year- and you know who you are!!

May we all be thankful for what we have, and not envious for what we do not. Contentment my friends, is a gift whose value is beyond measure!!
Cheers!

Well, I was going go sailing on Christmas day with my Grandson on Smith Mountain Lake in 60^ weather, but, plans had to change and the admiral and I are now in liquid sunshine Florida for the holiday.  Making the best of a poor medical situation with the daughter's in laws

Say a prayer for Dave Arnold as he tries to recover from sudden heart issues.

As I sit by our fire this morning, secure in the knowledge that Santa had come, cuz the milk and cookies had been gotten into, and the stockings that were hung with care had goodies in them, I now ponder how he finds all of those sailboats with souls aboard, where do the reindeer land, and how in the world does he get below with no fireplace to be had? Too much wondering for this boy. Now where is that high octane eggnog!

Merry Christmas all.
