My neighbor is getting rid of his 10 year old trailer that he uses for his 13ft whaler.  I'm thinking of using that to replace my original 1974 trailer that my compac is currently sitting on and is rusting badly; has anyone done that?  The trailers are about the same length and the cross beams on both trailers are 4ft apart.  It's definitely wide enough.

What is weight rating? That is probably the biggest issue
