I am a new member on the forum and looking forward to the information and advise it will bring in the future.  I have owned sailboats in the past like the O'day 23 and 26 but nothing to compare to my new boat.  I am going tomorrow to buy my new 1995 CP 27 in Maryland.  "Red Knot" will by my part time home in the near future if things go as expected.  I have been dreaming of this adventure for many years and at the ripe age of 68 there seems to be no reason to wait any longer.  Any advise and or encouragement is welcome.

Welcome to the group! I have owned my 27 for a little more than a year and love it!!! Look through the 27 section and you can get the answer to almost any question you could possibly have. The folks here have a lot of knowledge and are happy to share their experiences. Welcome once again and congrats on the new to you 27.
