Wake Boats?

Interesting article in Boats US this issue.  Talks about the impact of "Wake Boats"  and uses Smith Mountain Lake as a location that is impacted.  That's Tim's home port I think.  I had no idea that boats were being designed to actually increase the wake.  But then, I quit sailing in the summer on Bay Springs Lake years ago.  Too hot, often windless, and constantly competing for space with the fleet of power boats of all types.  Anyone having wake boat issues?

There will never be a shortage of idiots who think they have a god-given right to destroy the environment...or of criminals who think they have a constitutional right to sell them the tools to do it.
