Horizon Cat Elliptical Ports

I have two ports that have the hinge side broken apparently they were over tightened  by PO.  Has anyone repaired  these?  I have seen the repair on the screw clamp side, but not of the hinges.  If replacement is needed, will I have trouble   removing the interior of the ports (ie glued in place in addition to screws)?  I did a search of the forum, but could not find  this specific topic.  Thanks  in advance...
