Could someone take a picture of the anchor bracket mounting from inside the cabin of the boat? I'm interested to see how its secured down through the deck and what kind of backing plate setup it has, if one at all...

even better if you can get another picture or that picture includes the lower bracket from bow to anchor roller and how that is secured on the inside from the factory

I'm doing a little conversion on my 16 using that style anchor bracket and a legacy bracket(I had to bend/shape the lower bobstay type bracket slightly to fit my 16, but its nice, shiny, and stout)

I removed the front bow rail, and am extending the forestay to the end of the anchor bracket. I have drilled my holes and have the appropriate hardware, just wondering what the factory way of backing it all up on the underside is like...

Thanks if you can help

the end is in sight to get my 16 restoration project back in the sea! After the anchor bracket is secure, time to raise the mast and make sure my new setup and sheet angles/cleat locations will work... (should have put up jib before I bolted the new cam cleats into the cabin top... but hopefully not a lesson learned the hard way later LOL)

Typically when I see requests like yours for pictures, I'm 1200 miles away from my CP Legacy.  However, I just happened to be on vacation this week, and am about 20 feet from the boat!  The first 2 pictures show the outside front and top of the anchor mount.  The third picture shows the inside looking forward.

It doesn't look like there is any backing plate on the top anchor mount, nor on the bottom support about a foot down from the stem.  Looks like only somewhat oversized SS washers were used, and the one on the bottom seems to be pre-bent to fit the curve of the bow, so the edges do not cut the fibers I guess.
