Can I get help from anyone that knows what is the rudder length and width - so I can consider a foil replacement ?  Is there any fore or aft angles also ?

Hock: I'd think the foil rudder manufacturers may have already taken these measurements into account when they build their blades. I'll try to measure mine but I've altered the angle of the blade so I doubt that would be helpful to you.

The foiled rudder that Compac is using as OEM now is shaped like this so the dimensions are somewhat variable.  My boat is not at home now, but I may be able to get the largest dimensions later this week or early next week.

Hey Brackish, I haven't seen the rudder that Com Pac is using now and I'm curious as how the tapper is shaped. Do they maintain the foil shape down to the bottom? I can imagine that the foil shape is shrunk down so it's not cut off on the tailling edge or blunt on the leading edge?
Thanks Lance

You're right, the taper top to bottom and fore and aft is variable but probably maintains the same NACA foil profile.

I have the Ida Sailor rudder in the house. I'll try to post some pictures and measurements after work tonight.
