Direct from the land of Koinonia, a very happy Thanksgiving to all! Upon reflection and despite the fact that the wheels seem to be falling off the world, we all have so much to be thankful for. Unless you're a turkey, that is!
So many wonderful friendships have been made through this little sailing forum...so much fun had, so much yet to come. Enjoy today, you band of Compac-o-nauts!! I'd sail with any of you anytime! Today, I hoist a PRB to you and to the founding Compac-o-nauts: the Hutchins! who continue to build some of the worlds finest little yachts and maintain customer service that is second to none! Thank you gents!!

I'll second that emotion.  Been through a couple of tough years health wise with Vicki (the Admiral), but we're still sailing.  Very thankful for that and for the pleasure of y'alls comaradarie here at the CPYOA site.
Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Thanksgiving all!!

Bob, the wheels are not actually falling off the world, there are just a whole lot more folks making a living hawking what actually is happening.  As a statistics guy my advice is let W. Edwards Deming be your friend.  The world of statistical relevance will ease your soul.

Very cold today, but already looking forward to Tuesday.  High of 65, overnight low of 44, winds 10 out of the south shifting to 8 out of the north overnight.  That gets me up lake and back down without having to beat or use my motor.  Time to start working on Admiral Sheri about an overnight.

Agree completely, while we may be tempted to complain, there is much to be thankful about.  Happy Turkey Day!
