I have the original retractable motor mount on my cp-16. My question is I need to replace to wood motor mount and replace it with a poly one. I can only find them online and am not sure of the size. Does anyone know the dimensions I need to fit my boat. Thanks Michael

Hi Michael,
I just measured mine (wood) it is a trapezoid: 11 1/2 inches tall and 5 1/2" wide at the base and almost 8" wide at the top X 1 3/4" thick.
One thing I did that helps is to add a rectangular rubber fitting at the top where the motor mounts.
It has two circular depressions that just fit the motor mounting flange end bolts.  These keep the motor from "straying" side to side and also reduce some vibration.  As always... I have a loop of rope from the motor to the rudder gudgeon just in case.
I think the non wood would work nicely...
