.....the haulout/refit from hades continues.  You know the conditions that cause me to not sail in the summer and do maintenance instead are kinda the same conditions that make working on the boat miserable.  Hot, humid and mostly without wind.  Hull is cleaned, completely restriped and waxed, the bottom has three coats of Blue Water Marine copper shield SCX 45 on it. Based on my level of neatness, the trailer is also protected well from any marine plant or animal growth.  The teak is off, stripped, cleaned, brightened, sanded and ready for the next folly regarding a coating that might last longer than a season exposed 24/7.  Many other minor tasks have been completed.  Many more to go.

I should have chronicled this ordeal from the beginning, and posted an ongoing narrative.  The epic adventures of Crazy Carl would pale by comparison.

Pictures when it is done.  A new twist or two for a 23.

So glad I am an 80/20 guy.

I did scrape barnacles off, spray the embedded bodies with muriatic acid and scrape further. I think I have a bit to go, but the rains came.

Sailing from the hard for awhile anyway, so no plans to bottom paint.

We'll see if I get tired of this.

I got a free AC unit and haven't gone down to even put it aboard because it rains every %$@%$@ day.

I probably will just clean the boat with Clorox and let it go at that.

Good luck with your cool project, and I hope it works out that you are glad you did it.
