Saga - CP23 - Now in Tennessee

Ahoy, all!

I'm Robert Banks, from Bristol, TN and the new owner of Saga. This is my 7th sailboat, starting with an 11' Lockley Sea Devil in the early '70s, and more recently, a Cabo Rico 38 on the North Carolina coast; now, the lovely Saga, a CP23, kept on Watauga Lake in the mountains of Northeast TN.

Best wishes to Matt, who made quite a few well-thought modifications to this lovely, little ship. She'll live, mostly, in a slip at Lakeshore Resort and Marina, Hampton, TN, but I'll also trailer her bigger water, including Chesapeake Bay and the Keys. I'm a former live-aboard and active cruiser, but the time has come for smaller boats and life ashore.

I look forward to meeting, greeting and learning from the ComPac family of owners.

Your timing is fortunate in that Bob23 is otherwise engaged in planning and prepping for the BBB, so he has not yet approached you for the new member extortion, ah I mean initiation fee.  Be wary of that and stay below the Mason Dixon line for a while, his Jersey "family" is ineffective there.  Because he is old and has had too many PBRs his memory is short and he will forget fairly quickly that you have not paid.

Enjoy your new boat, it will be enjoying a beautiful setting.
