boom rolls?

l have 2014 Legacy with the standard rigging-single set of reefing points for the main and standard jib I have just ordered a "storm jib"-actually about a 50% jib -I think that will work-I get a lot of days 15
to 25 knot winds and still like sail-almost always sail alone-I don't think my boom rolls as I have noticed in some of the comments-must be earlier models?
any suggestions for setting up for ease of use for an older singlehanded sailor?
