A serious weather warning has been issued for West Central Florida for this week. We are looking for a week long chill to a low of 52 degrees with a high of 82! It appears these conditions will last for the entire week! Sailors are advised to be wary of sunburns, even with the chilly morning starts! Mid afternoon cocktails should be started earlier than usual to protect from dehydration! Stay tuned for future sever weather updates!

Dang, I hope that warning extends to S.W. Florida as well. We are planning a short cruise to Pelican Bay (Cayo Costa) this week and wouldn't want to miss such a weather event. Tomorrow I am loading the fridge up with Yeunling so it will be nice and cold for the duration. I will have my Cannon Blast next to the helm so as not to violate the pirate's code and have to face the Kraken. Might even hear the dolphins singing the Jolly Mon song. Never tire of Pelican Bay, it's everything a sailor could wish for and always brings something new to experience.
We are having really warm weather up here in Virginia. Not getting the boat out of hibernation yet but getting the kayak out tomorrow!
Supposed to be near 80 this week.....hoping we don't pay a price later for this. So many of our plants have major confusion occurring so that a return to winter will set them back. Sure has been making it tough on the ski scene this winter, though we had good conditions last week. Unlike many on this fine forum, I am not ready for spring yet. I love my winter sports too!
Mas - can you say "iceboat"?
