1988 Compac 23. Like new condition. Fully restored to original. Includes; Boat, Motor, Galvanized Magic-tilt Trailer. Interior completely restored. Interior wood surfaces, sole plate, cabin sides, and bulkheads re-teaked or refurbished to original showroom condition. Magic-tilt galvanized trailer restored including new axle, brakes, tongue and 4 brand new tires. 9.9 Suzuki long shaft motor, (very clean and runs great), Main and 110 jib in excellent condition. New foam replaced in all the cushions and original fabric professionally cleaned and in excellent condition. Professionally buffed and polished hull to original shine. Fresh bottom paint. New Sheets and Halyards. Topside in excellent condition with no wear. Standing rigging in excellent condition. All exterior teak including handrails, eye-brows and hatch slides were replaced with new teak. 6 Solid bronze portholes cleaned and sealed. New teak hatch door. New battery, mast light and running lights in working order.
Boat History:
This was a one owner boat who struggled with health issues and was unable to use or maintain the boat for 2 years. It was in the water for that period with minimal care. It was rescued in December, 2014 and totally restored to original condition. The boat was moved to a heated indoor facility for repairs and reconditioning. All work was professionally done and was recommissioned on April 15, 2015. It was slipped and sailed at Carlyle Lake, ILL. This is an excellent family boat that can handle the weather. Has sleeping capacity for 4 comfortably and makes a great weekender or trailer to other lakes.
