Al Santini, an Eclipse owner/sailor from CPYOA has written an adventure book!
I was fortunate enough to meet Al when we bought our Eclipse. He offered to drive several hours to help me look at this boat. It was especially helpful since I'd never seen an Eclipse in person before. Since the boat wasn't rigged properly, he insisted that we redo the rigging so it would be ready to set up quickly. When we departed after only a few hours together, it felt like great friends departing.
I was fortunate a 2nd time when Al asked me if I'd do a review of his new book featuring a main character (like Al) sailing his Eclipse in Florida (like Al). It was fun for me to read about the Eclipse and how she sailed. The last day of sailing didn't quite turn out like he'd planned. So as not to spoil it, I won't say anymore.
It was a fast, fun read that I didn't want to put down once I started. What's not to like: A compac, good water, good sailing, and adventure.
Al's website is available to direct you to Barnes and Noble, Amazon and Outskirts press.

Disclaimer: Al is sending me an autographed copy of the book, but even if he wasn't, I'd still recommend his book.

Will definitely read! Can only get it as a paperback on B&N....I read everything on my tablet. It's available for $5 as an ebook....how does that work? I presume I can read it on my tablet using iBooks?
Rob
Maybe Al will jump in, but he's on the road now I think............. Oh, I don't know I-stuff.......
I think you click on download, fill out the info, and give them a credit card number, and they probably send you a link to download. When we order stuff like this, we use a separate credit card that we only use online.
Sorry I don't have a clearer understanding.

The book will be available as a Kindle or a Nook edition probably by early next week. Right now just paper copy. The E edition is a PDF copy readable on just about anything that has PDF capability. Thanks for the interest and to Ron for reviewing.

Great! I'll wait for the Nook version.

Just ordered...have to support a fellow Eclipse owner!
I will be picking up a copy as well, Al! Always a good thing to support fellow Com-pac owners!
