Title: Ordering new parts for our '85 19/II
Post by: crazycarl on June 06, 2016, 01:40:11 PM
just placed an order with Matt at Compac for new rubrail ($155.25), eyebrows ($67.50), and chain plates ($36).

i didn't ask what the shipping would cost, but with the weight of the rubrail...$$$?

i ordered a manual, and the book costs like $16, with shipping at $20.  Not a total of $20, but an additional $20, making the total $36.  I called and got a more economical option, but it was still pricey compared to Amazon shipping experiences.

Crazy Carl , -->Somonauk, IL  where the washing machine was invented and the local museum's most interesting exhibit is a two headed calf!

Cool. From Sturgeon Bay, WI where the random orbit jitter bug rectangle sander and the the cargo box for freighters was invented, the original is in our museum and not to brag but Gary has all kinds of natural oddities in his basement and that may include my friend Gary.

The owner's manual has been downloaded on to the net years ago. Have no idea how to find it.

snickers, craig.

May find some interesting fotos of early appliances in the slide show. Our club made a Model 'A' tour, this was one of many stops.
We have the Lombard blue standard roadster [not deluxe] with the white top and straw colored wheels.
