Post by: Big Jon on May 20, 2016, 09:27:02 AM
Now 15k obo.   Amazing 23d/3 .  Boat is ready to sail right now.  100 precision roller furling jib.  Boat is 100% dry.  She is in Stuart Florida in the port st lucie river.  New solar vent, new gaskets on all portholes, motor looks and runs like brand new, slide out sink, marine head with holding tank, water tank.  I have gone back to college for 2 yrs for Marine Engineering and have no time and need the money to help. Must move this  ASAP.   561 779 7653. jonlwl@yahoo for pics

Big John,

There is a 1999 out board model in Englewood for the same price, so I don't think you are priced too high, as the diesel is a pretty expensive upgrade. You may consider posting on sailboatlistings.com.

Best of luck with both the boat sale and school,
Ron

Where are you advertising the boat?  Probably want to use as many for sale sites as possible if you are in a hurry to sell.

Not having a trailer would be an issue for a lot of buyers.  I would want to pull it out when hurricanes come ravaging through S. Florida at a minimum.

Thanks for the input guys!

I listed it here for 20k a couple months ago thinking this was the best place to find a serious buyer, but only have had two reply's.  One guy came and looked but was looking at several other boats for less, so he most likely bought something for less I believe. I had a professional guy from Tampa call and offers me 15k cash and was leaving town that day for 10 days for work and promised once he got back home he was coming to bring it home.  So I waited and waited than called after 14 days and was told that the boat was on hold for now.  I swear I listed it for 20k on Sailboat listings a month ago but I cant find it anywhere.  I am listing on CL now and than Sailboat Listings, Sailing Texas , and Ebay.

Lots of these 23s I see online don't move so either they are crap or priced to high.  Mine is the real deal.  With all the talk about the Rare 23D I am quite shocked about the limited responses.  Lowering to $12,900.
