After looking up swing arm mounts in this forum, I built a swing out holder for my GPS, VHS, cell phone, etc. I pursed the cheapest TV swing mount I could find on Amazon, added a plastic "stuff" holder and mounted them on a stained and varnished board. It will work perfect. Total cost was less that $25.(http://)
I also saw that some one asked "how do you carry your mast"? I built a removable mast crutch out of PCV. Inexpensive, portable and works really well.(//)
And finally...If the pictures showed up on this posting, it is thanks to "brackish" and his excellent but simple instructions. If they do not show up, it is because I am still a simpleton.

Here we go again. Small spring projects #5. Swing arm mount and removable mast crutch.(http://
Gerry,
When you paste the link that you copy from Photobucket, it should look something like this (I've intentionally removed brackets):
URL=http://s1378.photobucket.com/user/svWaltGrace/media/IMG_2618_zpsy9re7otx.jpg.html http://i1378.photobucket.com/albums/ah112/svWaltGrace/IMG_2618_zpsy9re7otx.jpg[/IMG][/URL
...and render this:

Gerry, congratulations on not turning one project into many! Project creep has a way of creating an unstoppable series of ideas and tasks, so good on ya' for keeping it simple! :)
Do share the name or part number of the TV stand.
P.S. I'll send you my phone # to help with posting pictures.
