Title: Keeping my favorit crew member dry
Post by: HeaveToo on March 25, 2016, 12:19:40 PM
I just made a cover for my tiller pilot.  It may not be pretty but it should work to keep it dry in the foul weather and dust free during storage.

Thanks....Workmanship....well, not really.  I wish my sewing lines were a little straighter.

Projects like this area great for learning skills.  This is the first time I have worked with window material.  It isn't that bad to work with.

my favorite crew member would not let me put her in a cover! Susan wouldn't stay in it anyway.

good idea for your mate though.

I need a crew member like that; I'm going to have to ask for it for xmas, I guess. I'm working on the bimini first. However, when I DO get it, I will commission such a covering for it as well.
