Title: color schemes
Post by: davestlouis on October 19, 2006, 11:08:07 PM
The pathetic-looking CP16 I am getting is solid white and has a bad case of the uglies.  If I am going to repair it I'm going to have to refinish it as well, so I can play with color schemes.  What exterior color schemes do you folks like?

Hey Dave,
Tigers vs Cardinals!
The Com-Pac 16 looks great in dark green or dark blue with the creamy white deck and refinished teak.

I do like those combo's, and the warm white makes all the difference, vs. bright "refrigerator" white.  My '65 Alcort Sunfish has an aqua deck and creamy white hull and coaming, and I really like that combo on a boat of that age...I've been talking to someone who has a 1963 Mercedes 200 sedan in an aqua color with a creamy white roof that would look SO slick towing that Sunfish around.  I think dark hulls look tremendous on classic boats.
