From the turkeys here in NJ:
A very Happy Thanksgiving to everyone here on the site! We sail Compacs...we have much to be thankful for!
Thank you, Bob. And I wish all our ComPac families a wonderful Thanksgiving with our friends and families.
Marty K.
I echo the same.... I hope all have a great Thanksgiving spending quality time with their family and perhaps their Com Pac boats.
Same from Sunny and warm Florida. Sailed yesterday and will again Friday if the weather cooperates. Right now it looks good.
Sorry I just had to rub it in. I lived in the North country 53 years I feel for ya. But I do envy those perfect Thursday afternoons sitting around the fire after The Big Thanksgiving meal.
We still do Thanksgiving but it's in the Bird Cage maybe a propane fire going in the pit if it gets cool enough.
Happy Thanksgiving To All

Are you really sorry for rubbing it in??? Really??? And a happy one to you too!!!!
I'm also in New Jersey for the holiday, which isn't much to be thankful about. ;)
However, being with great family (despite the location) is something that I'm thankful for.
Happy thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving! Wishing everyone a wonderful celebration for all our blessings! I'm excited about the prospect of sailing my Compact 16 for the first time this weekend! Will pack a turkey sandwich and launch at the lake for a day of Compac fun!
Blessings to all the Compac Fleet!
happy thanksgiving to all, especially our good CLR friends. hope to see you all in july.
So much to be thankful for....we find ourselves debating ground tackle, cruising grounds, sails, boats, etc, etc, while so many are debating who goes hungry and live in repressive areas. We should remain humbled buy our fortunate lot to be here and alive.
Also on a side note, a reminder to be thankful for Albert Einstein's relativity theories as our GPS systems would never work! Just got one, also thankful.
Happy thanksgiving all. :)

The Three Great Truths.
Substitute "rum" instead of beer......
now ain't that a "truth" !!!!!
Hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!!
Make that 4 great truths. After Beer is good, add "Rum is Better".

Happy belated Thanksgiving to you all. I am new to this forum and a new Sun Cat skipper. My wife, Sister Sue and my Nephew Jamie got out for a beautiful sail the day after Thanksgiving on Lake Winisquam, Laconia, NH and had a great time. Unfortunately, I think that was our last sail for the season, but will be prepping for first sail through the winter.

Welcome to the forum! We look forward to hearing about your adventures. Although I'm a 23 owner, I really like the SunCats and have toyed with trading up (down?) from my 23 to one. Hope your Thanksgiving was a grand one and again, welcome!!
